This is the highlight of the IEBA Conference for m This is the highlight of the IEBA Conference for me. I went up to CHUBBY CHECKER, told him my Dad's band backed him the week his new song "The Twist" came out. It was at Saylors Lake in PA towards Poconos. He said "I remember that show. Yeah it was outside in a park. I said "yes they had a blast and they prepared and knew your song and surprised you." He says, "Yes the Dukes I remember them. They were a very good band. Your Dad did real good. Tell your Dad Hi from me and let's take a photo so you can show him." My Dad is the greatest influence on my passion for the music business. He says if his band had had someone like me they'd have gone much further. This drives me to be the best Artist Advocate I can be to give artists their best opportunities. When people ask me what I do for my profession/wor When people ask me what I do for my profession/work - it's a lot of things and I guess the best way to describe it most of the time is "making it happen". My favorite and most blessed part is A&R. Artist and Repertoire. This is a lost role in the music business. My iconic figure role model is Ahmet Ertegun the founder of Atlantic Records. He was a real FEEL the music kind of guy. I met him when I was 20 years old and in college and thought THIS is what I want to do. A&R people are special. They find the talent and nurture what it will be to the rest of the world. They align with the creativity of the artist and guide them with direction in songwriting, production and building the "repertoire" that will surround the artist and their music. The magic. The matchmaking. The connecting. The starting from nothing and turning it in to something. It is an overlooked art and gift all of its own. From there it was networking and fortitude to "make it happen". After college graduation in PA, it was a one way plane ticket, two suitcases, $1200 and two friends in LA - one of them had a couch! There was no going back. I made my way - held all levels of A&R positions at major labels reporting to SVPs and Presidents. I am honored and grateful for the experience, mentoring received along the way from A level people and the amazing relationships created. I left corporate music business life taking my expertise and credibility of discovering multi-platinum talent to the street, invested in myself and created my own company brand called AnRGirl in 2003. I had a vision for myself that had not yet been an actual role. Today AnRGirl is a company that discovers talent and is a service for hire to critique artists and develop their music and brand using all aspects of studio, marketing, social media, press and radio. Major labels did this at one time on a greater level and it is a lost service provided at the labels. I created a place for artists to engage with industry professionals and learn what they would have learned in artist development at a major label. AnRGirl is an opportunity for artists to work with incredible producers, songwriters, managers, agents, publicists, etc

Bob was selected from 1000 submissions to perform on AnRGirl MCM showcase Nashville last June. He was one of the 3 submissions selected for the virtual Streamkast powered showcase. Thank you to guest judges muli platinum producer Malcolm Springer and hit songwriter Kirsti Manna (Austin - Blake Shelton and Loud - Big and Rich). After winning, Bob presented several songs to me and we chose to work on this one with Malcolm at his studio 10inch Music located at East Iris Recording Studios in Berry Hill area of Nashville, TN. Bob's inspiration for the song came to him while watching a ton of Netflix shows during the pandemic. This one is based on Josh Hartnett character in Penny Dreadful. Working in the studio with Bob really allowed me the opportunity to see the depth of talent that he has as a creator along with his undeniable voice. I'm so proud of you Bob Green!!! Doing what I love most - A&R studio time developin Doing what I love most - A&R studio time developing raw talent in the studio the traditional way. I'm in Nashville for a 24 hour turnaround trip to check in on my new artist singer songwriter @bobgreenmusic and multi platinum producer Malcolm Springer. Bob entered an opportunity I did with Reverbnation last Spring. There were over 1000 entries. I selected Bob and two others to perform on AnRGirl Roadshowcase live streaming performance event in June of which myself, Malcolm and Kirsti Manna (hit songwriter) judged the contest live from East Iris/Universal Music Studios in Nashville. While the other artists were very talented, Bob's voice and writing has "magic". We chose him as the winner. Now in November, I've endorsed him and am collaborating on a production with Malcolm of a new single that will be released on AnRGirl in early 2022. Best wishes for Bob! He is super talented and an immensely gracious fellow. Keep up the great work. This is only the beginning.
