About AnRGirl
Holly Hutchison Weinman, also known as AnRGirl, is a music artist-friendly business executive with over 35 years of experience in the music and entertainment industry. She is a visionary with a passion for discovering new talent, building artist brands, and cultivating unique identities. Holly’s credibility is built on her consistent track record of identifying successful artists, including Skid Row, Deftones, Alanis Morissette, Blink-182, Slipknot, Muse, Saliva, Bosson, and Vega 4.
Holly is a voting member of the Recording Academy’s New York Chapter for the Grammy Awards and a voting professional member of the Country Music Association. As an advocate for artists through AnRGirl, she is excited to offer a new form of music distribution for independent artists by leveraging innovative technological features that enhance advertising, branding, and development. AnRGirl provides independent artists with access to top producers, songwriters, next-level opportunities, and reliable promotion and marketing. Her team has achieved chart positions on Billboard and Editorial playlists for clients on a competitive level with major label artists. Holly’s pioneering instincts for internet marketing and live streaming date back to 1996 when she organized and co-produced one of the first live stream concerts at the renowned Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA.
Drawing from her extensive professional experience, A-Level Repertoire, and deal-making abilities, Holly’s background includes significant roles in major recording corporations and mentorship from industry leaders in New York City (Atlantic Records – a Time Warner Company) and Los Angeles (Capitol Records/EMI). She has held top executive positions and has successfully transitioned to being a well-respected, detail-oriented, and creative business owner. As an independent professional, she has closed deals with notable figures such as Jason Flom of Lava/Republic and Doug Morris, former CEO of Sony Music Entertainment.
In Fall 2016, Holly took on management of the multi-platinum hard rock group SALIVA. She has enjoyed a long standing friendship with the group after being a first champion of SALIVA in 1998 while she was an A&R Executive at Capitol Records and the band were looking for a major label home. Unfortunately, Capitol Records did not sign SALIVA but the rockers went on to have a successful career at Island Records under music experts Rob Stevenson, Jeff Fenster and Lyor Cohen. Holly would remain a friend, business ally and mentor over the course of the next 18 years. In the two years of management, she doubled the group’s gross income, released an independent single that has accumulated over 25 million streams through her marketing and landed Saliva a deal with Megaforce/Orchard/Sony Music Entertainment.
