Brother Octopus – “Amusement Park”
This feels better put together than the last submission I received by Brother Octopus. I didn’t need to go back and replay “Amusement Park” when I sat down to write this critique as it was interesting and catchy enough to stir it back from my memory…and believe me, I hear A LOT of songs EVERYDAY. The song has a melodic groove in the bass line. I like the trippy little guitar effect added as an answer in the chorus. The chorus lyric is simple. It sticks with you in the vocal delivery with the enhancement by the trippy guitar. The verses could be addressed lyrically – maybe more creative imagery. I think you’re on to something here. Put some more time in to this song and follow it for direction. Best of luck!
